Laser Guided Energy

Applied Energetics is the sole and exclusive developer of Laser Guided Energy ("LGE™") and Laser Induced Plasma Channel ("LIPC®") technologies. These revolutionary technologies can precisely transmit high voltage electrical charges by using an Ultra Short Pulse (USP) laser to create a conductive path in the atmosphere. Counter IED Technology

Applied Energetics is working with the U.S. military to address an urgent mission: the neutralization of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). We have developed and tested a fully operational military system for the U.S. Marine Corps. This system has completed an Operational Assessment in the field and continues to support Operation Enduring Freedom. We are currently working with our Marine Corps customer to improve the system by reducing its size; thus providing field commanders with greater operational flexibility in their deployments of our system to counter the IED threats.
